FrankLamphere is a throwback to the famous pop singers of the 1950-60's. Accompanied by band of world-class musicians, Lamphere performs traditional pop and jazz standards. A twenty year veteran nightclub and big stage entertainer, Lamphere will have a special appeal for fans of the Rat Pack and straight-ahead jazz. His style is bold and swingin'. Think of Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett and Bobby Darin, rolled into one. His latest show offering "Back in the 60s" is available with 3, 6 and 11 piece bands.
A songwriter as well, his compositions, both music and lyrics, have gained him very favorable industry attention. A handful of these originals were released on the CD Frank Swings in 2012. The lead track "I Never Forgot" is featured in the award winning independent film Theresa Is a Mother.
Former regular vocalist at Chicago's Peninsula Hotel and Jilly's, Lamphere has performed numerous times in Las Vegas, New York and Europe. He excels at nightclub and concert performances. Frank and his trio will be performing the first and third Fridays every month starting in March '16 at Jimmy's Charhouse in Elk Grove Village.
For corporate events (natiowide) Frank offers an incredibly diverse and ever changing nightclub type music show with live musicians, not karaoke background tracks. The show can be tailored for most events.
